MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Y345- REVIEW and SWATCH

My definition of "favorite foundation" -  one that offers a medium build-able coverage and not cause a skin reaction! Honestly I am pretty amazed by the quality of foundations I come across regularly. Make Up For Ever is one of those brands, I look up to for innovative and exciting formulations and this new foundation is no exception.

I can only rave about it because I love the formulation, the feel of it, how it blends on skin and also the fact that this is a perfect shade for me and it does not cause any skin reactions on my sensitive-dry skin.

The packaging is simple and easy to use. I like foundations with a pump, its so much more hygienic and gives me the control on how much product I would like to use. Typically a single pump is enough for a medium coverage but I can layer it on for a fuller coverage. I usually do not go for a full coverage foundation look, so this is great for me. 

The formula is slightly one the thinner side, but not as runny as the Chanel Vitalumiere. Its light weight and blends well, and for me, I feel that I have to wait for at least a minute or two for the foundation to 'dry'. It does feel a bit 'sticky' but quickly settles to a natural, smooth, powder-like finish.

I do not use a setting powder on this, because I like this foundation as it is. It does last very long on me. I would say, a full work day. However, depending on your skin type, you might wanna use a finishing spray/powder or a setting powder.

You might have already guessed why I like it so much - its easy peasy! Its quick to work with - stays fresh for long and I do not touch up during the day. Everything else, like the blush and the contour powders go well on it. I am a happy girl, when my makeup is stress free.
