I would purchase this lipstick over and over again. Its one of the best satin formulas on the market and I am a huge fan of Givenchy's Rouge Interdit Satin lipsticks for a while (check out my review here and here), so I was dying to get my hands on this new launch. Givenchy describes Rouge Interdit Satin lipstick as 'more than a lipstick: it's a fashion accessory with a designer signature. The black and silver tube is an objet d'art adorned with a ribbon at one end that unlocks this beautiful piece.' This beautiful lipstick deserved that kind of praise.
The exceptional quality, smooth texture, that precious packaging and the beautiful shade range makes it so hard to resist a product like this and honestly, from now onwards, I am only buying Givenchy lipsticks!

The shade Rose Nocturne is described as a warm brownish pink. Its the perfect nude for my complexion. I love that I layer this on for more intensity or wear a single coat, which is the best my-lips-but-better shade. This is the most gorgeous brown pink shade I have seen and I can confidently say that it has replaced my go-to lipstick, which was Chanel Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle 434 . I still like the Rouge Coco formula, but this one by Givenchy has knocked it out of the park.
Rose Nocturne is the perfect shade for all occasions - I wear it during the day time and it is very long wearing. I would say 5-6 hours, when I apply 2-3 coats, and then it begins to fade. Even when it fades it does so beautifully, so I never look half done. It hydrates and nourishes my lips and its become my favorite formula for this weather and the holiday season.
Rouge Interdit Satin has a beautiful creamy smooth texture that melts over my lips. I actually looked through the ingredients because it felt like the YSL Oil-in-Stick lipsticks (review here) and found castor seed oil to be the first ingredient. No wonder it locks in moisture and hydrates the lips.
The pigmentation is spot on. It never looks patchy, nor does it settle in fine lines. It smoothes out the lips and makes them look shiny, satiny smooth with a beautiful even color pay off.
I would highly recommend this because after quite some time I found a lipstick I fell in love with! <3
