And I can't be happier to share my favorite scent for the season, the new Miss Dior Eau de Parfum! This fragrance is a beautiful floral bouquet with Centifolia Rose at its heart and its probably the only rose scent that I really love and own. The Miss Dior Eau de Parfum Gift Set  retails for $169 at Nordstrom and Sephora and includes 50ml of the Eau de Perfume and 10ml of travel spray, packaged beautifully in this enchanting celestial gift box and finished with a Dior ribbon. I picked up the Nest Fragrance set because I have always loved Nest perfumes and I love how generous the trial sizes from Sephora are - they are perfect for travelling. This set includes a mini candle, a perfume oil and a Nest perfume roller ball and all three of them smell like the holidays to me!!

Dior J’adore Infinissime Eau de Parfum Review

Intense and sultry! This olfactory treat from Christian Dior is a slight variation from the original J'adore Dior and I loved it so much I got it without second thoughts! If you feel all your perfumes are a bit mundane and have the same bergamot+patchouli blend, then this ylang ylang+tuberoses blend will tickle your fantasy. I love white flowers and anything with tuberoses is my weakness, so it now seems understandable why I was so attracted to this scent and at CAD 149 it didn't put that much of a dent in my pocket (comparatively :P )

GUERLAIN Aqua Allegoria - Nettare Di Sole & Flora Salvaggia Eau de Toilette Review #WorldBeeDay

Guerlain has launched two new Aqua Allegoria fragrances to honour the bees on World Bee Day 2021 namely, Nettare Di Sole & Flora Salvaggia. These layering perfumes are inspired by wildflowers which attract bees and produce honey. The relationship between bees and flowers is millions of years old but the reality is that the annual honeybee mortality rate now stands at 30%! This disappearance of bees is endangering biodiversity and we have to act now to save and preserve our bees.

Being a sustainable luxury brand, Guerlain is running an international fund drive to raise up to € 1M in aid of the #GuerlainForBees Conservation Programme from May 20-22. Over three days Guerlain will donate 20% of its worldwide sales as well as € 20 for every repost of its 20th May World Bee Day Instagram image (click here) which includes the hashtags #GuerlainForBees and #WorldBeeDay

LOUIS VUITTON Attrape-Rêves Fragrance Review and Photos

On my birthday, my husband took me to the newly opened Louis Vuitton Store in Calgary's Chinook Centre to pick myself a birthday present. I was ecstatic because, that never happens! My husband would usually pick something for me himself, and in the past there have been instances when I have returned the gift and gotten something else that I really wanted. For a moment I thought, he might not have liked me exchanging the gifts later on, but truth is, I want my gifts to have more value than only sit somewhere in the closet. I want to use them, enjoy them and as soon as I entered the gorgeous LV store, I forgot about all this! I just wanted to try on everything. 

Initially I wanted the Me & Me necklace in my initial 'R' but as soon as I caught a whiff of the fragrances, I quickly turned around and discovered the stunning array of perfumes or shall I say 'les parfum' in my not-so-french accent.

So today, I am sharing a new fragrance that I fell in love with. I actually like four of them and I finally decided to purchase Attrape-Rêves which translates to 'dream catcher'! So me, so lovely, so I got it! More on this, on todays blog.

TIFFANY & CO. Tiffany Eau De Parfum Review

Tiffany & Co.'s new fragrance Tiffany Eau de Parfum is a summation of how I feel about luxury - its glorious, self satisfying, opulent yet understated and it makes me feel so uplifted because I relate to the scent in many ways. Its the kind of scent that feels like me. It might not be the most unique fragrance ever, but there is something special about it, that kept me wanting it for a month, before I decided to get the full size 2.5 oz bottle. I usually stick to 1.7oz bottles for perfumes because I do not have one signature/favorite scent, but a handful and I keep switching between them, depending on how I feel. With Tiffany, I wanted to go full size because I knew I will be wearing it all the time. The middle notes of Iris in this dreamy floral scent is what keeps this signature perfume unique to Tiffany. The bottle is inspired by diamonds and  you have to check out the bottle shots at the end of this post. It looks pretty sitting on the vanity and the elegant silhouette fits nicely with other accessories on my dresser!

L'OCCITANE Verbena Eau de Toilette Review

On a hot summer day this lemony scent is a breeze of freshness. It brightens up my mood as the zesty, sparkling scent slowly settles into a sophisticated floral base note. Verbana by L'Occitane is a very unique citrusy fragrance enriched with organic verbena extract from Provence. It draws inspiration from freshly harvested green verbena leaves that fills the air around the markets of Provence.

PRADA Candy Kiss Eau De Parfum Review

Happy Valentine's Day you all!!
I decided to share this bottle of perfume I got, just in time for today's celebration and also Hershey's Kisses. Come on! Who doesn't crave milk chocolate today? And a flirtatious and feminine scent that reminds me of my early 20s? Bring it on.
Sometimes its legit to be self indulgent, enveloping yourself in a cloud of fragrance, walking like you are a million bucks, without worrying about the possible judgements, only because, someone chose you. Because there is someone who loves you, makes your heart flutter and inspires you to become a better version of yourself, every single day. So what if there is one out of 365 days to celebrate it. Isn't it worth a celebration everyday?

So, this perfume is definitely something I would have never purchased myself. I stay away from sweet scents because they 'feel' immature. However, there is something different about this one.

VIKTOR & ROLF Flowerbomb Extreme Eau de Parfum Review

This uplifting, mysterious version of Flowerbomb caught my eye, while shopping at The Bay and I had to try it, only to fall in love with it so much - I purchased it without a second thought. I never truly enjoyed Flowerbomb; it's a bit too sweet on me and I do not like how it dries down. But something about this one is so captivating, I can't get over it. Its definitely a heavier scent and maybe more appropriate for night time (I use it all the time though). Love the sophisticated vanilla at its base and the woody tones are just enough to keep it feminine, yet powerful and elegant.

RED MUSK Perfume Oil by The Body Shop Review

Since, Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I wanted to share this fragrance from The Body Shop. Its been around for some time (holiday 2014?), but I discovered it recently. Its also my husband's favorite scent and quite honestly, I feel that anyone can wear it, especially if you've loved the White Musk range from The Body Shop, then this should be a pleasant surprise. It also makes a wonderful gift for your loved ones, this Valentines Day.
