Ever seen people bathing in mud on NatGeo? I was always fascinated by sea sand and loved to squish it between my toes. Its such an amazing feeling! Luckily, I came across the opportunity to try Alaska Glacial Mud's Facial Mud Mask and Exfoliating Mineral Soap Bar. Both of these products are certified organic, paraben free and enriched with mineral from the remote waters of Copper River Delta in Alaska. They contain 60 trace elements, that promote healthy skin regeneration. Its completely natural and free from all allergens and toxins.
Lets have a lot at the pics and then my review...
Glacial Facial Purifying Mineral Mud Masque (3.5 oz for $34)
I have this mud mask in the Original version which is unscented. It is available in two more flavors, Lavender-Peppermint and Vanilla-Lavender, that I have as a travel size. I also received a Masque Application Brush ($4.50) to neatly apply this on skin.Just like any other face mask, this has to be applied on face using fingers, or the mask brush, shown in the picture above. Allow for 15 minutes to dry and then rinse with a warm water using a wash cloth.
It mask applies really nicely and evenly on skin. It feels like a whipped clay smoothie and has a cooling effect on skin. It tightens and deeply cleanse pores. After rinse, I feel my skin to be so soft and smooth. Its hard to stop touching my face. I really love this gentle way to exfoliate skin. Since this contains trace elements and minerals that promote collagen production and makes skin looks younger and radiant. I did feel that my complexion looks brighter and even toned after using this. It has anti aging benefits in the long run and its always great to use natural products that offer so many benefits.

Here are the two scented version of the Glacial Facial Mud Mask. They are in travel sizes which makes it so much easier to take on vacations. I really like the neat packaging. The scented version is equally good as the unscented one. The only difference was, that the scent make this mask feel more luxurious and relaxing :)
The travel size is for $3.50 and is good for a one time use. This is a great way to test out this mud masks for your self. You can find out more about these here
Love the no mess opening..
Handcrafted Exfoliating Mineral Soap Bar (4 oz $12.50) in Bergamot, Lemongrass, Mandarin and Lavender.
I really like hand made soaps because they feel so luxurious on skin and always have yummy scents and delicious flavours. This one from Alaska Glacial Mud is no different! Its made with glacial mud from Copper River Delta in Alaska and is a truly exfoliating soap that can be used all over the body including hair!
Although, I did not dare use it in hair but on my skin it did a great job. The delicious scent of lemongrass, mandarin and lavender are also a treat to enjoy in the bath.
The only issue I had was that the mud in this soap would stick to my bath tub and I had to scrub it off. Over time, my bath tub started to look really dirty because, I obviously did not clean it after every bath. Other than that this soap is amazing. It comes in one more scent of Pepperminet-Lavender.
Amazing ingredients in there!!
Overall, these products have impressed me so much, I can't wait to try more scents. I would recommend these to a friend, because they give me a perfectly relaxing experience, in my own home :)
