Hey!!
Catwalk Glamour kindly sent me their Sable Makeup Brush Set for review. I shall be sharing tons of pics and my final thoughts on each of the brushes included in this set. Lets begin with photos of this gorgeous brush set followed by my review.
LUXURY SABLE MAKEUP BRUSH SET
This is a 8 piece makeup set made with the softest sable hair bristles. Some brushes are made of synthetic fibres. I have divided them in two categories, Face Brushes and Eye Brushes to showcase, how I use each of these brushes.
FACE BRUSHES
There are four face brushes: Blush Brush, Foundation Brush, Angled Blush Brush and Concealer Brush
EYE BRUSHES:
There are three eye brushes in this kit. They are all sable hair brushes and although they are quite soft, they poke my eye lids. All three have the same tecture.
LIP BRUSH:
This is a decent lip brush and I use it when my other lip brush is dirty because although the bristles are a good size for lips, they poke my lips and I dont like that itchy feeling on my lips.
All of these brushes come in a faux leathercase which makes it a great option to travel with.
Overall, I feel Catwalk Glamour Brushes are not the best brushes I have come to know. This set retails for GBP 150 which is too high for this quality. Some brushes like the Blush Brush, Angled blush brush and the Eyeshadow Brush are good at their job but the rest of the brushes are below average in quality and performance.
You can purchase these from www.catwalk-glamour.com and they ship worldwide. For more details on this Luxury Sable Makeup Brush Set click here

FACE BRUSHES
There are four face brushes: Blush Brush, Foundation Brush, Angled Blush Brush and Concealer Brush
- Blush Brush: This brush is a big round brush that I feel is a bit big for blush. I use it for applying my powder foundation and setting powder. Sometimes I use it for brushing bronzer all over my face. I have never used this for my blush but I feel it makes a great powder brush. There is some shedding of hair but its nothing I can't handle, so its all good
- Foundation Brush: This foundation brush is quite thin and stiff for my liking. I like to use this for applying and blending my concealers. I often use this for my foundation when my other brush is dirty. Its not the brush I reach for more often, but whenever I use it the application is without any streaks and it does a good job in blending my liquid foundations.
- Angled Blush Brush: This is my favorite brush. It does not shed much and it has stayed in its form even after several washes, when I expect white bristle brushes to fluff and loose their shape after washing. Its a very good size for applying contouring powder and highlighters. I also use it for putting on my powder blushes.
- Concealer Brush: This is the most useless brush in the kit. I never use it. Its the worst concealer brush I have come across. It feels like its asking for more bristles or maybe need to be cut shorter. Its really a waste.
EYE BRUSHES:
There are three eye brushes in this kit. They are all sable hair brushes and although they are quite soft, they poke my eye lids. All three have the same tecture.
- Eye Shadow Brush: This is my favorite brush, as it does a great job in packing on eyeshadow to the lids. It works well with loose mineral and pressed powder shadows. It is also good at blending eyeshadows out nicely on lids. I often only use this brush for doing all my eye makeup.
- Angled Eye Shadow Brush: This brush is soft and the bristles are not as tightly packed as they should be to make it a good brush for the crease or the outer V. It is not as precise in application as I would expect frmo an angled eyeshadow brush. It can be used as an all over shadow brush but nor so good for crease or outer V.
- Angled Brow Brush: This brush is too soft for creating an edge on the brow or to do my cream or gel liner. I use it to apply shadow to my lower lash line and it works great for that purpose.

This is a decent lip brush and I use it when my other lip brush is dirty because although the bristles are a good size for lips, they poke my lips and I dont like that itchy feeling on my lips.
