Serious Skincare A DEFIANCE A Force XR and Skin Detailer Part 1 and 2 Review and Photos

I have had such amazing experiences with Serious Skincare that I can truly rely on it for any skincare concerns. Absolutely love their Phyto Pumpkin Scrub, Dry Lo, Luster, Glycolic Peel and Facial Wash and much more. Today, I am sharing with you their anti aging products from the A Defiance line.

A DEFIANCE SKIN DETAILER STEP 1 (STEP 1 & 2 KIT FOR 59.95 AT HSN)

This step involves using a micro-peel to evacuate pores with skin-brightening acids. It also floods the skin with effective antioxidants and nurturing skin hydrators and soothers.
I cleanse and dry my face. Then dispense a qtr size amount to the plam of my hand and apply it all over my face, in an even layer.
I let it sit for 3 minutes and then remove with a damp wash cloth. Then I rinse with cool water, pat dry and proceed to Step 2.

Its pretty easy to follow all the steps. I feel a noticeable difference in the smoothness of my skin after applying this.

A DEFIANCE SKIN DETAILER STEP 2
Immediately after Step 1, I follow up with this mask. It seems like a clay mask in terms of texture but it does not completely dry out. I apply it for 5-10 minutes and then remove with a damp wash cloth and splash clean with cool water.

There is such a noticeable difference in the softness and smoothness of my skin. This treatment has become my go to facial treatment before any night out. I just feel, it exfoliates and brightens up skin in an instant. This is  a true quick fix to brighten up skin tone and to prepare it for makeup application

A FORCE XR - TIME RELEASE NANO ENCAPSULATED RETINOL SERUM CONCENTRATE ($37.50)

This is a powerful wrinkle fighting retinol treatment. I had used this for 7-8 months now and there is still a ton of product left.
I apply this on a clean and dry skin, avoiding eye area and let it dry for a couple of minutes and then, I follow up with my moisturizer. It can be used morning and night. Over time, I felt that the serum worked its best during the first month of using it. Later on, may be my skin got used to it, and stopped giving results. I still use it but I am thinking about switching to another serum, because I feel its not doing as much to my skin. I halted using it to check if there is any difference in my skin's texture or fine lines. I could not see much of a difference.
Its a great option for those seeking a retinol treatment in their regimen but there are definitely better alternatives available.
