I started using The Body Shop's Tea Tree products, from the beginning of this year (I am totally living the 'New Year, New Me' cliche). One of my skincare resolutions was to go back to basics. I have had used so many different types of products on my skin in the last year, mostly targeted towards eliminating the signs of aging. However, over time, I realized that my acne flare-ups have considerably increased - mainly due to hormonal issues...sad..ehh..
Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion and Face Mask are really helping me clear out all the acne marks and blemishes. Of course, I am using my other skincare products with these but just adding these to my regimen has made such a difference to my skin. I am also using the Tea Tree Facial Wash once in the morning and once in the evening.
TEA TREE FACE MASK ($15 for 100ml)
This mask has such a cooling effect on skin - it quite literally soothes all the redness and makes everything look and feel so much smoother. It deeply cleanses and leaves skin looking fresh. I feel like it has also lightened my acne marks, over the 3 week period, that I have been using this, along with Tea Tree Facial Wash and Blemish Fade Lotion.
Also, I have been exfoliating once a week with Microderm360, so it may be a combined effect. Whatever it is, I feel that its working right for me.
So, I use this mask once a week - Friday evening to be specific. Its a green mask that needs to be applied generously on face and neck, avoiding eye area. I leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off with water. This mask does not dry. I felt that my acne flare-ups are in control. I still do get acne, because, you know the reasons are internal, but it does not spread or turn in to red patches any more. In fact, it clears up sooner too :)
TEA TREE BLEMISH FADE LOTION ($19 for 30 ml)
This best seller form The Body Shop is my current night cream. It promises to improve the appearance of blemish damaged skin and I can't agree more. I wake up to a clearer looking skin and I am so thankful that my blemishes are lightening and my skin looks much better in only 3 weeks of using these products. I just need a pea size amount for my entire face and neck - a little goes a long way.
Initially, I felt that this treatment leaves my skin feeling dry after about 5 minutes of application, so now I wash my face with Tea Tree Facial Wash, spritz the Beauty Elixir by Caudalie all over my face and then apply this. That way, my skin feels hydrated all night long.
Getting back to a main stream brand for my acne and finding good results is so amazing. These products are affordable and easily available. You can even order these online from The Body Shop's website and always stock up on them, whenever there is a sale. I would highly recommend the products mentioned in this post. They are all amazing and at such little price, they really do wonders.

So I decided to go back to the skincare products I have always believed in and honestly, the only ones I like and recommend from The Body Shop are the Tea Tree products. I love their bath and body stuff and especially their body scrubs, body butters, fragrances and hand creams, but for facial use, I only trust Tea Tree products. They have always impressed me and have always worked.
So, the products mentioned in this post are a part of my current skincare regimen.
