DIOR Addict It-Lash Mascara Review and Swatches

Its been long since I logged in to share my beauty obsessions with you all and I was away for good reasons. I have been travelling, cooking/eating and volunteering at my community library. It's great fun to be able to meet with people from all backgrounds and help them do what I love doing- writing!
I once wanted to write a novel and I had even written 20 pages of it on MS Word before I got busy with something else. It is so weird, now that I am in the 3rd decade of my life, that feeling of wanting to write a novel, is coming back. Life is so much fun when there are new friends, new things and new hobbies to explore regularly (if not daily) . Yes, I have made some new friends too and I dearly miss my old ones and hope to reconnect with them some time.

Anyways, so today, I will share with you a mascara that has remained so faithful to my lashes all of this time. Its a relatively new mascara for me, because I was always afraid to try out a Dior product. The fear of mostly walking to the Dior counter and being the only 'younger' customer. I don't even understand, why are there so many older ladies at the Dior counter and not at MAC or even Chanel or any other brand for that matter? So anyways, that's why I love shopping at Sephora because there are no counters and no sales person looking at your face as you try out a product and waiting for you to buy it. It just doesn't feel right, especially in this day and age.
So I bought the first one of Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara from The Bay and then I just order online at Sephora and I get a ton of samples using all the codes they send me in emails. And trust me I hardly use them. I would probably use only the facewash or the perfume ones..

The Dior Addict It-Lash mascara was more like an impulse purchase. A crime. I know. I fell in love with how easy it was to use and how much of a difference it can make to my lashes (you will see in the pictures at the end).

SWATCHES - DIOR ADDICT  IT-LASH MASCARA 
I have two coats of mascara in the pics below and I applied this while my toddler was pulling my pjs because he wanted his Halloween candy! So you get the picture - its quite easy to achieve curled, voluminized and lengthened lashes with this mascara.

I did not use a lash curler and look at that curl and volume! I love how effortless this mascara is. The formula is a bit dry especially if you compare  it with Benefits They Are Real mascara because the brush looks similar to that. However, the formula is completely different and even the brush is chubbier, I think. I love the 'comb' like bristles on the mascara brush which literally comb each lash to separate and coat it completely, adding to the volume. I can get down to the lash line and apply the product from the root of the lashes to the tips. a little wiggle helps deliver more product per application.
I know some people would find the formula to be too dry but I love it, because there is no downtime. I don't have to wait for it to dry, so I can sneeze when I want to. It stays put quite well too.

Another thing that I love about the DIOR Addict It-Lash Mascara is that it is very easy to remove. I would say even my facewash would remove it, however, it is best to use a makeup remover. The formula is so well designed that it does not smudge or flake even when I am working out or cooking. I can leave it on for the whole day without getting my eyes irritated and I love removing it at night because it does not sit on my undereyes, nor does it give me panda eyes the next morning.

There is really nothing I can complain about. Its a pretty spot on mascara.
