CHANEL ROUGE COCO Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in 434 MADEMOISELLE Review and Swatch

This Spring nude lip colors are on trend and I find that a refreshing change from the darker/bolder colors from Fall/Winter and there are so many beautiful nude colors to choose from. I am truly, deeply madly all about this shade from Chanel. Mademoiselle has been my go to shade and it always work for me!  

This gorgeous shade is from the iconic Rouge Coco line from Chanel. I don't even recall how many times I have repurchased this. Honestly, I own no other shade from the Rouge Coco line because I am always so hooked on to this one. Many of you might say, the shade is 'dupable' and I would like to agree, however, there is nothing I can find that matches this one. It looks amazing on my skintone. Its 'the one' nude shade I can't live without, even when it comes with a $45 price tag. Too expensive for a lipstick but the texture, the formula, the shade and everything else is so perfect; I do not even want to look for a dupe!

So the last time I shared about the Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Color in Mademoiselle it had a different number and this one is the reformulated and is given the number '434'. The newer formula is designed for intense hydration all day. I loved the old formula too but this one is remarkably more hydrating. Its definitely a great formula and thankfully the shade and the smell are exactly the same.

SWATCHES
I would describe 434 Mademoiselle as a medium pinkish brown with mauve undertones. The swatches seem to be a bit cooler toned, however, it looks quite neutral toned on me. The mauve tones pull more if I am in low light conditions and in bright light it looks more pink than mauve. Its the most natural looking nude shade for me that I can amp up by simply pairing with a gloss. The shade is so opaque and even in application - its a delight.

You might have noticed that this shade looks so hydrating in the swatches above and has a beautiful satin finish. It is very comfortable to wear and it never feathers/bleeds. The application is always even and smooth no matter how dry my lips might be. Its a lovely formula and its incredibly long lasting. I have had lunches and snacks without any need to touch up. There is a rosy fragrance in this lipstick that I enjoy and I feel it adds to the luxurious feel of this high end lipstick. If you are sensitive to fragrances, please stay away from this because its is quite noticeable. It weathers off after application though. I am totally in love with this and I would say if there is one high end lipstick you want to try, it has to be the Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Color. 434 Mademoiselle is my favorite shade form the line and there are 23 more to choose from.
