FOR BELOVED GIRL Mineral Cloud Silk Masks Review

I got a chance to try out the new mineral based cloud silk masks from For Beloved Girl. For Beloved Girl is a sister brand of For Beloved One which is a Taiwanese beauty brand. It recently launched in Canada at T&T and online at YesStyle.ca. For the past month I used one mask every 3-4 days to see how it works for my skin. Each mask focuses on a specific skin concern and highlights the minerals its formulated with. 
I am in love with these sheet masks because they make my skin look and feel amazing. They are high quality cloud silk mask and the sheet is so thin, its nearly invisible when its on.
For Beloved Girl caters to skincare issues of younger women. They have extensive research to prove that everyday our skin looses minerals and this mineral loss results in several skin issues such as dullness, dryness, and aging.

For Beloved Girl has developed six mineral masks to target the most common skin concerns for younger women. Each cloud silk mask leverages a specific key ingredient:

2. Ca - Skin Renewal
3. Zn - Oil Control
4. Fe- Flawless Brightening
5. V - Puff Elimination
6. Cu - Anti Aging  

The masks contain optimal mineral concentrations for the desired effect on skin . On average, one mask is the equivalent of 1.88 bottles of mineral spring water spray - that is impressive!

Na - Extreme Moisture Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask 

Key Ingredient: Hyaluronic Acid 

Concern: Extreme Dry Skin

I am so impressed with this one. The burst of hyaluronic acid made my skin so plump and hydrated. I am definitely stocking up on these because my skin gets very dry and this is the perfect quick fix for dehydrated skin. 

Ca - Skin Renewal Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask 
Key Ingredient: Calcium Lactate
Concern: Pore Cleansing

This mask did a great job at clearing my pores. It exfoliated my skin and my pores looked smaller. I would definitely want to try more of this because pore cleansing is the most important step for a healthy skin. It also made my pimples smaller, so for me, this worked much better than the tea tree oil based Zn mask.

Zn - Tea Tree Oil Control Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask 

Key Ingredient: Tea Tree Oil 

Concern: Oily, Combination Skin

I get acne once a month and I waited to use this mask during the period when my skin breaks out. The first thing I noticed was the strong fragrance of tea tree oil. The scent is quite overbearing for me and applying this mask for 10-15 minutes seemed like ages. 

Unfortunately, this mask did not do much for my zits and pimples. It did not reduce swelling, nor reduced redness. It could be because I only had one mask to try, where as, as the back of the packaging it says that it should be used 2-3 times a week. There is a possibility that with multiple uses, it would work, but for me, this one shot missed the mark.

Fe - Flawless Brightening Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask 
Key Ingredient: Ferric Citrate
Concern: Dull, Uneven Skin Tone

I tried this for the first time, on the night before Eid, because I had no time to go for a facial and I hoped that this will brighten up my complexion over night. And what an amazing treatment this was. My skin was so radiant the next morning and it stayed that way for 3 days. It made my skin look like I had been exfoliating for weeks, especially my nose and cheeks! It also smells great. This one is an incredible mask.

Cu - Active Resilience Youth Mineral Cloud-Silk 
Key Ingredient: Copper Gluconate
Concern: Aging Skin with Fine Lines

This is a great mask for aging and fine lines. Its formulated with hydrolyzed soy protein that helps in skin rejuvenation and plumps up skin for a youthful appearance. I loved this mask and I felt that if I used this regularly, it could definitely do wonders to my skin. Love this anti aging treatment. I always apply the leftover serum from the masks to my neck and décolleté to maximize the benefits from this mask.

V - Puff Elimination Mineral Cloud-Silk Mask 
Key Ingredient: Caffeine and Potassium Chloride
Concern: Fatigued and Puffy Eyes

Fatigue and puffy eyes? Yes please!
Long summer days make it so hard for me to sleep at night and the caffeine from this mask eliminates water retention to eliminate puffiness resulting in a firm skin. I love to use this on a Sunday night to look fresh on Monday mornings.

Directions: 
1. Take the elastic and transparent mask in the middle of the packaging. 
2. Apply the wet side (the one adhesive to semi-transparent paper foil) to face. 
3. Remove mask after 15-20 minutes. No need to rinse and continue regular skincare procedure

These masks are a quick fix solution to so many skin issues and I was pleasantly surprised that such high quality sheet masks are available at an affordable price point. Each one of them effectively does the job as expected and all of them make my skin look better after use. The sheet mask itself is very thin but it does not rip off and stays firmly on skin. The serum is quick absorbing and does not make my skin feel oily or uncomfortable in any way.

My favorite time to apply masks is night time, so after cleansing my skin I apply the mask as directed. I do not rinse my face (after removing the sheet0 and allow the serum to soak into skin overnight. Also, I did not layer on any other skincare product because the serum from these masks is extremely hydrating and also, because I wanted to test these out in isolation.
Each mask met my expectations. I always woke up with clearer, brighter complexion and a lot less redness on skin.
Its hard for me to pick a favorite but since I am always looking for products that clear out complexion and brighten skintone, I would say the Fe - Flawless Brightening Mask is my favorite.  I also loved the hydration boost from the Na - Extreme Moisture Renewal Mask which was a wonderful boost of hydration for my dry skin.  Actually, I loved all of them with the exception of the Zn mask, but it could be just my skin. You need to try these out yourself and see how they work for you.
