First work week of 2018 had been anything but smooth for me, the sudden workload is too much and it includes too much caffeine. The stress is hard to hide and the last thing on my mind is to worry about whether my complexion looks even. I like to use foundations that provide a sheer coverage because they are easy to work with and if there are any acne marks or blemishes that need coverage, I could always use a little concealer. My complexion looks even and my skin still looks natural and effortless (literally though).
After the holidays I just want my skin to breathe, feel and look fresh and the foundation that lets me achieve that airy, fresh, glowy look, is this medium coverage, blurring foundation from Givenchy. Its called Teint Couture Balm and will be available exclusively at Sephora.ca. Givenchy recently launched an array of foundations that cater to various beauty needs so there is something for everyone.

Givenchy Teint Couture Balm is a blurring foundation balm that offers a nude finish and a light to medium coverage that can be layered without looking 'cakey'. I have been using this every day and I am very pleased with how well it holds up throughout the day. It promises a 12 hour wear and it looks fresh all day long. I did not even use a primer on most days and it never oxidized. It blurs out imperfections and makes pores nearly disappear. Even on my dry skin, it did not accentuate dry area, nor did it make my skin feel dry or oily. Teint Couture Balm is designed for all skin types.
I love that I can quickly apply this foundation using a buffing brush or just fingers, and it melts into skin quickly covering minor imperfections. For darker spots from acne and under eye area, I use my concealer for extra coverage.
The texture of this foundation is like a soft cream that feels non greasy and give a smooth and dry to touch feel to skin. It doesn't really need a setting powder, but with the Prism Libre I felt that it looked more matte and poreless.
This soft, balm like foundation helps me achieve a natural looking, nude finish look. Remember to shake the tube before applying. It easily spreads on skin, blurring imperfections, evens out complexion and lasts the entire work day. It's quickly become my go-to foundation and with that sleek packaging, its perfect for travel too.
Overall, I really enjoy this foundation for everyday use as it gives me a natural looking, radiant skin look. Its the kind of product I would love to take along on a vacation because it is a fuss free product in a compact, lightweight packaging. If you are looking for a light, airy foundation for spring/summer time, then this might be it!
