Every Chanel product I use has such an amazing story behind it, whether its the secret pockets in the 2.55 handbag or the bottle of Mademoiselle parfum, there is always something that makes me connect with the story of Coco Chanel. This tweed blush is inspired by the iconic Chanel tweed fabric and it is nothing less than the luxury I wanted to experience. Its a soft textured, easy to apply blush that brings a beautiful matte radiance to complexion. Its the kind of blush I could layer on for night time, or wear lightly during the day. Tweed Evanescent is a warm medium pink shade that is pigmented enough to work for most skin tones. Review and swatches of this stunning blush is on today's blog!

The photo below shows Les Tissages de Chanel blush directly on skin and you might be able to observe that the powder, even though soft and finely milled, catches on to the dryness on my wrist and looks a little patchy. I never wear blush directly on skin but its something to know, if your skin is prone to dryness or dry patches on cheeks.
In the photo below, the blush is applied over a light layer of foundation and it not only looks more even and well blended but it also appears deeper and more saturated. Its definitely true to the color in the pan and I love this blush for that!
Les Tissages de Chanel blush in 130 Evanescent is a beautiful medium pink shade that screams spring/summer. Every time I wear it, I can't help but admire how it brightens my dull winter complexion. It blends easily on skin and gives a luminous matte finish on skin. It has a silver shimmer overspray that wears off after a couple of uses and then its mostly matte but in sunlight, I am still able to see some silver flecks that otherwise are not noticeable.
Described as a "sheer blush harmony ‘woven’ with shimmering powder for a refined radiance" this soft textured powder blush looks and feels luxurious. The shade Evanescent looks exactly the same on skin as in the pan and I am a huge fan for blushes that have an amazing color pay off. Its totally worth the expensive price tag! Also, its comes with a fluffy small brush that I can actually use. I always use the little applicators that comes in palettes and I find them of incredible use while travelling.
Les Tissages de Chanel blush duo in 130 Tweed Evanescent is available at The Bay, Holt Renfrew and Chanel for Spring 2018 for C$50
