Chanel Beauty has its Spring 2019 collection on the US site and we Canadians still have to actually wait till it becomes available to us. The collection looks stunning to me, so I decided to share these with you. All images are from the Chanel Beauty US website and shared here only to keep a memory of what was available or previewed in the US at this time of the year, while I drool.
So here goes the Spring 2019 Collection by Chanel.
1. Les 9 Ombres- ÉDITION N°2 QUINTESSENCE
This limited edition palette retails for US$70, and I believe it should be around C$100. It looks stunning to me as it has a mix of metallics, mattes and shimmery satin shades. Absolutely love the color palette for spring and will definitely get a hold of it, when available. Its still only previewed online, so check it out at Chanel Beauty here.
2. Rouge Allure Velvets in 73 IMPÉRIAL, 72 INFRAROSE and 71-NUANCE
Let me know what you think. The swatches below are from Chanel's website.
They retail for US$37 and approx. C$46 in Canada. Check it out at Chanel Beauty
73 IMPÉRIAL
72 INFRAROSE
71 NUANCE
3. ROUGE ALLURE LIQUID POWDER - 964 Bittersweet and 962 Electric Blossom (US$30)
These look stunning to me. They are a matte liquid lip color and the shades look beautiful. I haven't had a chance to try this blurry, powder finish, creamy matte lip product from Chanel but I would love to add these unique colors to my collection. Though they seem a little OTT, like Bittersweet is too dark and Electric Blossom is too bright, but I love these.
4. OMBRE PREMIÈR - Longwear Cream Eyeshadow in 840- PATINE BRONZE
This stunning eyeshadow will soon be mine!! Absolutely love this super wearable, all skintones' favorite shade. It looks like MAC's Woodwinked eyeshadow in a creamy formula and I can't wait to try this out. Retails for US$36 and lasts forever!!
Both beautiful shades for Spring 2019 and I will keep an eye for these on my local Chanel counter. For Spring, my makeup is a bit colorful, or let's just say vibrant, so I like my nails to be either nude or full on spring like. And these two shades perfectly captured how I feel about Spring makeup.
6. BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick in TRANSPARENT and SCULPTING (US$45)
I have no idea what exactly this product is. Definitely being a multi-use glow stick can mean a lot of things. I am hoping this to be a highlighting primer, or a moisturizing gel. In the description it says "A moisturizing, glow-enhancing balm for face, eyes and lips. The smooth, silky texture glides onto skin for a natural-looking glow."
I believe the shade Transparent is for an all over glow and the shade Sculpting is for contouring. Since it is described as a balm like product, I believe it is more skincare than makeup and something that my normal-dry skin might love. So I am intrigued and let me know if you are too.
