BOBBI BROWN Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink Review and Swatches

One of my most used eyeliners is finally on the blog. I find it so hard to write about something I have been using for years and somehow I do not include in many of my social media posts or even in my favourites posts.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in the shade Black Ink, is a matte finish, intensely black and long lasting eyeliner, which is a favorite of many makeup artists and bloggers. Today I will share some close ups and swatches of this incredible gel eyeliner. I must add that this is the best eyeliner ever and something I use everyday and recommend to anyone who is looking for a black eyeliner.

As you can see from the swatches above that the pigmentation on this is superb. It is intensely saturated color payoff and ability to glide on lids with an eyeliner brush is incredible. I have also used this for smokey eyes by smudging this on the lids, and it works beautifully.

I got this pot in 2018 and I still have half left. It never flakes, and once set on lids, it does not smudge and lasts all day long. Though it is not waterproof, for me this eyeliner is fairly water resistant and holds up well in humid conditions. It also easily removes with micellar water or my cleansing oils. 

Overall, I love this eyeliner and I use this everyday. If you are looking for the best eyeliner, that is intensely black, matte finish and lasts all day then this is the one for you.
