GUERLAIN Abeille Royale Anti Aging Morning Routine ft. Abeille Royale Double R Serum, Lotion Toner & Youth Watery Oil

As you all know from my Instagram that I recently got a chance to try out Guerlain's Abeille Royale Antiaging morning routine and I am so please to share this sustainably produced skincare line with you today. What I love most about this routine is that it keeps my skin hydrated all day long and adds a radiant golden glow to my face. My Guerlain Abeille Royale Morning Routine

I use these products in the morning to lift and hydrate my skin for the rest of the day, though they can be used morning and night. I usually follow up with a sunscreen in the day time and with a mask on I only need a mascara to get ready to head outside! :P

So here's how I apply these. 

Step 1: Fortifying Lotion Toner 

The first step is to cleanse and dry my face using Guerlain's Abeille Royale Cleansing Oil (which I will review in another post). Then I take a few drops of the Abeille Royale Fortifying Lotion Toner on my palms and gently pat on my face and neck and allow it to completely absorb. I usually do not use a cotton pad to apply toner, because I feel a cotton pad can irritate my skin, so I just gently pat it on my face with hands.

 

Step 2: Youth Watery Oil

Next I gently shake the Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil bottle and apply two to three drops of this luxurious oil. I love seeing those golden beads just dissolve on my skin as I gently massage to lift my face and smooth out any tension on my forehead. It's always amazing to give myself a little head massage no matter what time of the day it is. 

The Youth Watery Oil is very light weight and quick absorbing. It does feel like oil but the texture is just like water and once I apply on skin, it does not feel greasy.

Sometimes, I would skip this step in the morning and apply the Watery Oil mixed with my foundation, later in the day so my skin can keep benefiting from the powerful antiaging ingredients in this oil. Even on its own, I feel this is an amazing product to add to any skincare routine.

Step 3: Double R (Renew and Repair) Serum

As a final step I apply the Double R (Renew and Repair) Serum, which is described as 'a soft-peel treatment to diminish the signs of aging'. I never skip on this because I absolutely love this serum. It's so hydrating and gives a glow to my skin by supporting the skin's cell renewal cycle. I have actually stop using exfoliators because I feel they irritate my skin and now I rely on skincare that helps my skin renew itself quickly.  This serum is basically two products that come together to give outstanding results. The 'Renew' formula gently exfoliates with AHAs while the 'Repair' formula helps lift the skin and improve skin structure. 

I apply one pump of the Abeille Royale Double R Serum on my face starting in the middle of the face and moving outwards. I just let my skin soak in all the Guerlain royal jelly goodness and then follow with sunscreen or foundation.

That is my Guerlain Abeille Royale anti aging routine including Lotion Toner, Youth Watery Oil and the Double R Serum. I would highly recommend that you try these on yourself and see how much of a lift and golden glow it can add on your skin. My mother recently complemented on how glowy my skin looked on the video call, so that means something! :)
